Ardoch is a children’s education charity focused on improving educational outcomes for children and young people in disadvantaged communities. Their 2025 vision is to become Australia’s most impactful education partner supporting children in disadvantaged communities.

Their mission is that every child’s potential should be realised through full participation in education. This belief inspires Ardoch to increase engagement in education, build aspirations and enhance learning outcomes of children in disadvantaged communities. They mobilise community and workplace volunteers to support schools and early childhood services.

Ardoch’s Broadening Horizons suite of programs and activities aims to expose children and young people to a range of unique and engaging learning and life experiences. Children and young people connect with people from diverse businesses, institutions, and organisations as well as the wider community. They meet positive role models and engage in activities which give them opportunities to build their confidence, aspiration and openness to new experiences and learning environments.

Pathways Beyond School (part of the Broadening Horizons suite) focuses on building career and educational aspirations and preparing students for life beyond school.

Ardoch’s Pathways Beyond School program offers students engaging learning experiences that are designed to support their preparation for employment, as well as increase aspirations towards continued education and training, with a view to gaining long-term employment. It has the following components: YOUniversity, Industry Visits, Mock Interviews and Speed Careers.
