Mosaic Multicultural Connections (Mosaic) has been providing support and assistance to multicultural people and communities for 40 years. We connect and deliver valued supports to communities across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Hunter, and New England.

Mosaic provides care and support programs, services and activities across settlement transition, families and children, young people, aged care, volunteer engagement, and community development.

Mosaic provide a Homework and learning support for children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in both Armidale and Newcastle. 

Mosaic has been implementing after school homework activities in Newcastle for 18 years. Twenty five qualified and trained volunteers support about thirty children of mainly Syrian, Kurdish, Afghan, Congolese and Burundian refugee backgrounds. In Armidale, the Homework Centre commenced in 2009 and operates twice weekly classes to assist refugee and migrant children with their literacy and numeracy skills. It currently has twenty community volunteers supporting about thirty students.
